I am no economist but one thing is very clear to me. This bailout is a Fire Sale!
The public should get all the assets, not just the toxic ones.
We should get it all for the price of the fat cats not going to jail, for their being free to walk away with their ill gotten gains, and still have a business.
They should loose all their assets for one small set fee not of their choosing.
That or loose everything and be liable for the damages. Which of course included every family jammed into a mortgage they never had a prayer of paying off.
The fat cats should either hand it all over for the merciful public. Meaning you and I should get a dividend check back from the government for the use of our assetts to bail these bastards out!
We would get no better deal from them, in fact we would be laughed out into the street to freeze and starve in front of what was once our homes.
What better way to save the economy than to turn a small profit for the use of our funds.
Who the hell do the politicians think they are giving our money away in return for sewage!
No one else will touch those foul papers.
This is a chapter 11, the choice is clear, they take the deal or go under with liability and loose everything. Once they choose door number two, the people once again step in and take over everything, only this time I mean everything. Including the business, lock stock and barrell.
Well not everything, not the liability, they get to take that with them. Meaning they loose their personal assets, yachts, mansions and all.
Anyone who recently lost their home can explain how the art of the Fire Sale works if the Politicians do not understand.
I understand that cocktail weenies roasted over a barrel are delicious and not to be missed on a cold winter morning. Consider that in the boardroom.

Obama should dismiss McCain.
John McCain has resorted to shouting lies and running behind Mama Palin's skirts and hiding.
This is a curious Presidential posture.
I wonder will he take this war plan with him to the White house. When the Russian bear growls, will he do the same? McCain has abdicated his leadership role for the role of a bad child hiding behind his mother.
For the life of me, I can only come-up with one other example of this occurring in recent politics.
That would be the subordination of Bush to Cheney, even there Bush managed to maintain a certain amount of dignity and self respect.
Apparently McCain has learned almost everything Bush knows about being President and is now ready to take over the Oval Office.
If Obama wishes to win, he need only dismiss McCain with the derision he deserves for his childish behavior.
Go after the leader of this candidacy with focus, and never allow McCain out from beneath her skirts. If he wishes to hide, help him with the task. Show him for what he has become, an ill mannered and self centered brat, spoiled rotten to the core.

Americas Election, The International Vote!
I am amazed and saddened by the lack of direct input on the American election, from other nations.
America is not and should not be beyond influence. Chávez of Venezuela is trying his best to influence the election, I believe. What he has failed to do is state his terms clearly.
The people and press of every nation should be doing everything within their power to shout to the American People what their vote is in the American election.
For instance if Chávez just came out and said, "No heating oil for you Americans this winter unless Obama is elected." We might listen.
If Russia just came out and said, "Hot and cold running war for you if McCain gets elected. We can talk about it if Obama is elected." We might listen.
Right now we have thugs running the country. It is true they do not want to listen. They will not talk, they know only force and violence. But this is your last chance for the next four years to do something to change the world with words.
Don't speak to the Politicians, what you don't seem to grasp is that they do not own this country, they are more like bad tennants who have rented the place and are trashing it. Talk to the landlords, the people. If the rest of the world just came out and said what the stakes really are, just plainly stated this to the American Public, we might even be convinced to elect a third party candidate. If you really hated both of the primary partys.
The world is so much smaller lately. You have a voice, don't be like the American Thugs, use your voice.
If you can sway the people, you can change the world with words, and some of those people will actually be grateful you did!
